Binge is a new streaming service from Foxtel designed to go head-to-head with the likes of Netflix and Stan. If you're curious about what a budget take on Foxtel looks like, here's everything you need to know.

What is Binge?

Binge is a streaming service Foxtel describes as a sister to Kayo. While Kayo focuses on sports, Binge focuses on entertainment. This encompasses prestige drama, sitcoms, reality, movies, documentaries, and more.

How much does Binge cost?

Binge is Foxtel's most affordable streaming offer to date, with plans starting at $10 per month. Each plan gets you access to the entire Binge library; instead, spending more increases your stream quality as well as the number of devices you can stream on at once.

If you're new to Binge, you can get yourself a two-week free trial, which you can nab by following one of the links below:

Once you've got the right equipment, the easiest way to sign up to Binge is through its website. If you don't have a membership, click the Try us free button.

It's important to note that Binge uses the same accounts as its sibling service, Kayo. If you already have a Kayo account, you'll need to use that to register for Binge, as you won't be able to link your phone number otherwise.

When signing up for Binge, you'll need to provide an email address, password, phone number, and personal details. You'll be texted a verification code to your provider number, after which you can proceed with setting up your account. You'll then need to pick which of its three plans you want to tryand provide billing information. Binge accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. You won't be billed until the end of your 14-day free trial, and if you cancel your trial before this point, you won't be charged.

After you're done, you can log into your Binge account on any compatible device.

What is the difference between Foxtel Now and Binge?
